Product Description
With two different-sized bowls, the large one on the right deeper than the small one on the left; the MR Direct 501R-16 stainless steel sink is ready for undermount installation. The D-shape of the larger bowl and the forward alignment of both, allows for a faucet to be installed where the bowls meet. This model is 304-grade, cold rolled steel, at a 16-gauge thickness; 25% thicker than the industry standard 18-gauge. The surface is given a brushed-satin finish which adds to its luster and masks minor scratches which could occur over time. Dense, sound-dampening pads and an insulation coating are applied to the underside. With an overall measurement of 32-1/8 in. x 17-7/8 in. x 8-1/4 in., it will require a minimum-width cabinet of 33 inches. It is cUPC certified. This ensemble includes one of our custom-fitted, natural cutting boards made from the dense hardwood of the rubberwood tree. Naturally resistant to moisture and mold; it features a groove along its perimeter which channels away any runoff. Our high-quality stainless steel grids are custom-made to fit each basin. They help protect the surface from scratches and dents and prevent water from contaminating food. Their removable rubber feet raise them slightly above the bottom of the sink. Included is one standard strainer - a solid traditional choice with a shallow removable receptacle; and one basket strainer - a deep, perforated, handled, metal basket designed to hold considerably more waste.
